January 2008 – Angaangaq participated with several ceremonies including the opening ceremony and discussions at the World Spirit Forum in Arosa, Switzerland.
October 2007 – Angaangaq led the opening ceremony and lectured at the World Conference on Ethnomedicine & Ethnotherapies held at the Munich University in Germany.
September 2006 – Angaangaq participated in the world’s largest round table, ‘the Table of Free Voices’, in Berlin. More than one hundred thinkers, activists and artists from around the world – among them Chinese Tiananmen Square student leader Wang Dan – discussed the world’s most pressing problems.
May 2004 – Angaangaq met with Tibetan Spiritual leader, His Holiness, the XIV Dalai Lama in Toronto, Canada where he performed a ceremony and consulted with His Holiness during Canada’s first Kalachakra Initiation for World Peace.
October 2003 – Angaangaq was a presenter and healer at a week long Wisdomkeepers Gathering hosted by Dream Change Coalition at the Omega Institute for Holistic Studies in Rhinebeck, New York.
September 2003 – At the Millennium World Peace Summit of Religious and Spiritual Leaders at the United Nations in New York City, with 65 indigenous Elders from all over the globe in attendance, Angaangaq was one of the presenters who shared particular concern about the melting of ice, the environmental condition of the planet and its’ connection to man’s inner nature.
May 2003 – Angaangaq became an Honored Fellow of the Third Party Neutral Conflict Resolution Training Program where he is an Elder Advisor to the Board of Directors of the Canadian Institute for Conflict Resolution.
October 2002 – As an advisory member of We, The World, an organization globally connecting peace and environmental groups, Angaangaq performed the Opening Ceremony for 3,000 people at the Global Cultures and Media Conference: the 11th Global Dialogue in Hanover, Germany.
September 2002 – Joining Jane Goodall as her guest and speaking on the same agenda as Kofi Annan, Angaangaq performed at the Opening Ceremonies for the South African World Summit on Sustainable Development for Indigenous and Environmental Issues held in Johannesburg, South Africa.
February 2002 – Angaangaq participated in the Indigenous Action Summit “Reunion of the Eagle and the Condor”, a meeting organized jointly by the Four Worlds, the Native Investment and Trade Association (NITA) of Canada, and the Chief and Council of the Carib Territories of the Commonwealth of Dominica.
August 2000 – Angaangaq was one among the religious and spiritual leaders gathered for the United Nations Summit in New York City, where he co-chaired the panel Environment: Trustees of the Earth – Responses of Indigenous Peoples.
1999 – In Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Angaangaq participated in a ceremony for “Rock in Rio for a Better World” along with musical entertainers Sting, Neil Young, and others.
